From Elena: Our wedding day was magical. From the perfect weather to the ornate Russian Orthodox Ceremony and finally ending with an amazing party at Clarks Landing Yacht Club Point Pleasant. It was everything we hoped for and more when we set out to plan our perfect wedding. Our wedding didn't have a specific theme-that's just not us. We both love neutrals and greens so we went for a romantic, timeless look full of lush white flowers, off white linens and lots of candles.
Your favorite part: As cliche as it sounds, my favorite part of our wedding was the ceremony. Not only was the ceremony ornate and beautiful as all Russian Orthodox ceremonies are but the love we felt was unreal. Our pictures speak for themselves, during the entire ceremony all my husband and I did was smile and stare at each other. It really was the most magical day ever.
Advice for other brides: My husband and I decided about a month before the wedding that the day before the wedding we were going to let it all go. Meaning, we weren't going to stress about the small stuff or any last minute details. Instead, we wanted to enjoy the day with our families and just be in the moment! For the most part we stuck to it but of course i was little on edge but hey, it was the day before my wedding! So, my advice is make a conscious effort to let it all go and be IN THE MOMENT. You'll never get that back.

From Ruffled: With inspiration stemming from the delicate designs intrinsic to papel picado, New Jersey Wedding Photographer Jessica Cooper Photography set out to create a styled shoot using the decorative paper. Sweet Caroline provided the incredible bridal fashion, a two-piece stunner with a blush pink skirt that couldn’t possibly evoke more romance than it already does, and Papertini put together some of the most beautiful floral arrangements we’ve ever seen!
This Cinco de Mayo inspiration shoot went for a more subtle + romantic take on papel picado decor, keeping the look polished and elegant. Two-piece bridal outfits are becoming more and more popular by the day, and we adore this combination of a high neck top with the most delicate blush pink skirt. Top it all off with a flower crown featuring a bold pink peony for the full effect!

From Ruffled: If you’ve got a green thumb and love to garden, I think we’ve found the perfect wedding for you. New Jersey Wedding Photographer Jessica Cooper Photography and Sebesta Design put together this stylish wedding shoot inspired by lots of natural textures and a warm color palette of gold, copper, orange, and yellow.
Inspired by theme “Rooted In Love” and the ultra organic look of hanging root balls we worked with hearty textures like wood, grapevine and leather to give the shoot a grounded natural feel, but wanted to bring in lots of lush textures in both the blossoms and foliage so that it didn’t loose its romantic edge. This late Summer, early Fall sunset color palette of gold, copper, terra cotta and dusty blue allowed us to play with so many great blossoms.
Double petal garden roses played off of the flittering buds on the northern sea oats, while long spikes of dusty blue delphinium laid side by side with lush and low velvety clusters of the raspberry coxcomb. The entire inspiration was brought to life at Terrain at their Garden Shed & Greenhouse. The rough cut wooden planks and walls gave us the perfect backdrop for everything from our hanging grapevine ball arrangements, to our specialty drink display.

From Ruffled: Eclectic was the word of the day for this styled shoot from New Jersey Wedding Photographer Jessica Cooper Photography and Falls Flowers. Mismatched chairs, vintage oil lamps, and a mix of fun napkins were all key elements here, playing beautifully against the couple’s modern romantic look. Just wait until you see all of the yummy dessert ideas!
From the event designer, Forget-Me-Not Vintage Rentals: The gorgeous grounds of Appleford Estate in Villanova, PA initially inspired this beautifully eclectic shoot. Even with the lush greenery and bright blooms fallen for the season, florist Alyssa Rainville of Falls Flowers foraged for local berries and stems that added their own rustic charm to all of her designs. The gorgeous bouquet was a blend of these locally harvested items and fresh flowers, creating the perfect woodsy, winter mix. Forget Me Not brought their keen sense of style to the tablescape and ceremony space, playing on the rustic feel of the venue by using their handmade farm table, mismatched chairs, and vintage oil lamps. For a fresh, modern twist, they brought in an eclectic collection of fun napkins, accent pillows and other textiles. Pippa & Fig brought the natural rustic element even more to life with a leather detailed escort display – each guest’s name hand painted on a banner-style leather tag. The invitation suite was a fresh of modern tribal prints and Kraft paper, perfectly complementing our theme. Highlighting the bar top of 13th Street Cocktails, was a reclaimed wood serving tray from Infinite Abyss Handmade. The inlaid tribal design is another perfect nod to the organic modern elements of this shoot. Queen Bee Pastry created a collection of white, textured cakes, giving Falls Flowers another chance to show off their foraged winter finds. Adorable mini Mason jar pies completed Queen Bee’s assortment of desserts, and added the perfect rustic touch.
None of these beautiful images would be possible without the incredible eye of Jessica Cooper Photography. Taking inspiration from the golds and ambers found in the surrounding winter foliage, Jessica took advantage of the soft warmth of the outdoor light. Even in the bitter cold weather, Jessica was able to capture the glowing love of this gorgeous and playful couple.

When we saw the lush, raw space at the Horticulture Center, we decided to contrast those elements with luxuriously modern style. Knowing we wanted a simplistic color palette to keep the botanicals center stage…..Forget Me Not and Bottle Pop used cooper elements along with “ghost pieces” for a sleek, modern table which was finished off with coordinating copper menus and place cards by Pippa and fig.
The unique ceremony space installation created by Fresh Design and Bottle Pop accented by gorgeous florals and a lush green back drop. Clean lines continued through the custom gown by Sweet Caroline , glamorous makeup and timeless hair withBel Aires accessories completing the look…

When Caroline and I originally met to begin brainstorming for a styled shoot, The Inn at Fernbrook Farms came to mind, and once we knew we could shoot there we really wanted to tell the story of a daydreamer, a farm girl who walks barefoot along the grounds of her farm and is in touch with nature and animals. We chose a color palette of raspberry and light pinks and were inspired by warm weather and summer fruits.
The naked cake by The Cake Box By Neelma, complemented with fresh berries, really worked with the rustic backdrop. The invitations by Darling+Pearl in letterpress and pink hues added perfectly to the mix, and her beautiful wooden beer menus complemented the tablescape. Forget-Me-Not Vintage Rentals & Event Styling, styled four different locations for us, one being the new ceremony wall built on the foundation of the original home at the Inn. Using a mantel, birdcage, and wooden chairs along with Pink Dahlia Vintage’s stunning floral arrangements that were organic, natural and really added an element of elegance to the ceremony space, they were able to transform the space with their beautiful use of color and accessories. Janelle on Location created a few different elegant hairstyles to complement each scene and kept the make up natural and fresh to show the bride’s natural beauty. The stunning custom designed gown by Sweet Caroline was hand dyed a raspberry color to play up the whimsy of the look, with veil and headpieces provided by Sara Gabriel and accessories by Helena Noelle to complete the gown. Shire of Simply Shire Videography completed our shoot with an amazing behind the scenes look at all of the south jersey vendors involved. We all hope you feel inspired and enjoy as we really loved creating it!
